So I was watching Cinderella with the kids last night, and it occurred to me...
At the end, Cinderella has the other glass slipper, right? I just don't get that. When the clock strikes midnight and the carriage turns back into a pumpkin and the horses turn back into mice, her gown turns back into the raggedy dress she was wearing before, right? So why was the shoe the only thing not to turn back to it's previous state?
Plot hole!
Re: Cinderella Observation
i always thought it was a memento type thing. she didn't turn something into the glass slippers they were something special right? and the shoe the prince found didnt dissapear.
Well, that's an interesting theory. But she also had a headband, earrings and gloves that weren't anything else before, but those disappeared...
That was my theory too. Because they weren't on or near her person when it turned midnight.

I always saw it as something her fairy Godmother let her have as a gift. Because after everything else turns back the mice are telling her to look at her foot and she hugs the glass slipper and says thank you to her fairy Godmother.
Of course how she gets both at the end when 1 has been shattered - who knows. I think they bibbidi boppidi boo'd up another one. ;-)

Okay, I totally forgot about that scene. I retract everything I said!
Magic. That's how!
