Old wives tale... my mom is trying to convince me it's true that if you have children back to back, it is more likely that they will be the same sex. I don't see how that makes sense?!
It doesn't make sense, but everyone I know who is having 2u2 right now is having the same sex for #2 that they had for #1. I'd heard before that if you have 2 of one sex then odds are higher that you'll have that same sex for #3 (another owt I'm sure as it didn't work for my parents, they had 2 girls then a boy)
Uhmm...men control the sex of the baby. Not sure why it would matter if they were back to back to have the same sex. What about people who have twins, one of each gender?
Hmm...there is a post on 12-24 right now that might lend some science to this claim...apparently age can be a factor in what sex you have. Younger parents tend to produce more male babies. If you are young with your first, and then get KU shortly after, odds are more likely that you will have another male. But obviously this isn't 100% true for everyone.

Never heard it and I know 2 couples that have 2u2 with the same sex.
But my H and his sis are 15 months apart and they are a different sex.
my bro and I are 20 months apart and obviously different sexes. Dh and his sis are 13 months apart and same goes.
I don't see what one little spermie's journey could have to do with another's months later.
My brother and I are 18 months apart.
I don't see how a previous pregnancy months earlier would affect the chances of a male/female sperm beating the other to the egg first.
