  It was just my DH and the medical people.
  I did not feel comfortable having anyone else in there to see me in the condition (half naked, intense, vocal -no meds-, and pushing something out of my crotcch.)
  I wouldn't change it even if I could. It was so special that it was just DH there for me, being my support.

  For DD, I had my husband, mom, aunt, and my mom's one friend who I am very close with.

  I told my MIL she could be there for this one if she wanted.  If she doesn't think she can handle it, it'll just be me and DH this time.

  while i was laboring, my mom and MIL were there.  but during the actual birthing, only DH was there.  my mom wanted to be in there but i just wanted DH.
