MUSIC and the Birth of My Child

Music played such a big role in helping me through the birth of my first child. I had Joni Mitchell, HEM, and Radiohead (odd combo, I admit) on loop throughout. Found a similar story here (quite beautiful and worth a read):

    We had some music on the i-pod, but I couldn't tell you what was playing.  I was so in my own zone that I didn't pay attention to the conversations or sounds around me.  I've heard that other people like you really thrive from music.
