c-section vs 40 hour natural vaginal delivery

After doing both, I would take the vaginal delivery ANY DAY!! It was amazing and empowering. And I cant get over how fast the recovery was compared to the c-section. So if any of you are contemplating a VBAC for your next baby, I urge you to do it. It has less risk than a repeat c-section (for an uncomplicated, healthy pregnancy- just like for any vaginal birth where a c-section wouldnt be medically necessary). The book "The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth" is amazing and will change the way you think about modern obstetrics.
