Do you get a little annoyed when DH is sick?

DH has been home sick today and laying in bed most of the day except to go to the dr. I know he doesn't feel well and of course he needs his rest, but there is a part of me that actually gets a little annoyed that he's home and can't help me with DD, especially now that Im huge and its tough taking care of her. Ok, now that just sounded horrible. I promise, Im not really a selfish, thoughtless person!

    I would think that's normal.  I mean, when you're sick, it's not like you get a COMPLETE break, right?

    Yes. Over Easter, we stayed with my mom and all in one room. At 4am dh snorted so loud because of allergies. It woke us all up and ds wanted to eat. Ds has been waking up at 4 ever since and I am mad. It was inconsiderate and now I pay the price because I bf. I know I sound bitter. I am a little!

    i understand! i cant even fathom taking care of DD when im 37 weeks preggo!  and guys always act a bit more baby like than we do when they're sick!

    Yes I do!  I feel bad about it, it is hypocritical, he is great about taking care of me when im sick.

    I totally get annoyed. He is SUCH a baby when he is sick and he NEVER takes my advice to take Tylenol or cough medicine or anything that would help. It's also rough because there's really no such thing as a sick day for a SAHM.

    I do-my husband is so dramatic when he is sick. I think it annoys me more because I don't get "sick" days.

    Totally legitimiate. My DH recently spent 4 days sleeping or sitting on the couch because of a cold. Majorly annoying to me, as I manage to get up and interact with DD even when I don't feel 100%.
