Holy Sh$T, OUCH!

So Eirik has this thing where he has clenched down on my right side and then pulled. Well...now he has two bottom teeth. He has been playing around with doing this now with teeth. Um yeah no. So I usually stop nursing when he does that. He never seems to do it on my left side...and typically he favors my right for nursing, so its an odd way of showing it LOL.

Well just now...he did it SO HARD, that I burst out in a yelp and ended it immediately. His teeth are on the bottom but because he clenched so hard and bit, it ripped my nipple open on the side and top (sorry tmi). I am now bleeding and have a huge bruise. He is screaming his head off because of course, he is still wanting to nurse. Um yeah...not right now, dude. My right breast is actually throbbing. Holy moly. He still is completely refusing to drink breastmilk or formula from a bottle or cup, so that really isn't helping him...just pisses him off even more.

I feel horrible that he is so upset right now but seriously, so am I lol. I really hurt. And now I can even barely hand express out of that side. Will I even be able to nurse on that side for awhile? Especially with a wound? Ugh this sucks. Aodhan never really bit other than the initial time, so this is completely new territory for me.

I am just having a horrible day...can I run away? lol

    Oh, I'm sorry,that sounds horrible.  No idea about the continued nursing or pumping.  I got a bit of a laceration on my nip awhile ago and nursing and pumping hurt a lot, but I kept going (but it sounds like your injury is way worse and could possibly get infected if you are not careful!).  Can you call an LC for advice?  I hope it gets better.

    HOLY is RIGHT! OUCH momma! I would def call an LC for advice and be so careful of infection and mastitis. So sorry!

    Ugh. ?DS has two upper and two lower teeth. ?He just bit me 4 times during this nursing session. ?I know your pain. ?But luckily he hasn't drawn blood yet.

    I finally just had him nurse on the left side and he fell asleep.  I think I will be using mostly my left side for the rest of today and just try to pump on my right.  I will try to call an LC, but a lot in town are gone for the day so it might have to wait until tomorrow. Good lord this hurts!

    OMG I just cringed reading that!  That sounds so painful!  I hope it doesn't hurt too bad each time he nurses.
