Pregnant after a Loss
Heard baby's h/b today.
There's no reason I shouldn't have, but I'm still glad I did. I've been feeling a bit nervous lately for absolutely no reason at all, and I took the nurses up on their offer, and popped in for a quick check. We heard it the instant she put the transducer on my belly, yay. 
Btw, I love my dr's office. The nurse told me:
"There's a new girl at the reception desk, and she came back and said 'There's a patient here asking to come in and do a heartbeat check??' and I asked her who it was, and when she said it was Susan Ladd, I was like, of course, I'll be right up to get her. We just love you, we all fight over who gets to bring you back at your appts. Come back next week if you want another check."
I feel so loved.
