Pregnant after a Loss

I think I am obsessed....

With getting prof photos done of Hailey. We have a session this month with my wedding photographer and then I amsetting up another with a friend of mine who is trying to break into the business for all the grandkids on my DHs side. If I had lots of extra $$ lying around I think I would book a session each month when turns another month. I need to stop..... I think Sears or JCPenny is a cheaper option....

Re: I think I am obsessed....

  • I have been thinking of doing another session too. You're not alone.
  • Loading the player...
  • And fyi, sears is not cheaper.
  • Sears costs $150??? Really?

  • Ladies, if my baby is any near as gorgeous as yours I'll be doing the same thing!  I just can't get over how beautiful they are!!

  • We paid $80 for 4 poses. She took 10 poses. It was $8 a pose, $3 printing fee, session fee, tax, etc. We got the buy 1 get free option and still had to pay $3 printing fee on the ones that came "free". Otherwise we would've had to wait 2 weeks to have them in our possession. She friggin printed them right then & there and no one else was getting their pics taken. She still charged us. And the session fee is different than a sitting fee. And if you pay $10 for a membership you can skip the $15 session fee. BS is what I say.
  • Red, your baby is going to be gorgeous!!!
  • My goodness. Good thing I get a discount there!! Although, I'd rather pay the extra $50 to have my friend or my wedding photog to do it!!
  • I would. I can't wait to do it again!
  • Sears did great with those pics tho! Meredith is adorable!! So alert!!
  • I signed up at JCP and have been impressed w/ their prices.  we signed up for the portrait club so no sitting fees.

  • I don't blame you.

  • WHy not ask if the photographer can set something up for you like one flat fee for a mini session each month of her first year. I bet they would accomodate you.
  • If you have a subscription to Parenting Magazine, you will get coupons for JCPenny every month.  If you order per sheet, it goes from 9.99/sheet to 3.99/sheet.

I have been doing that for 2 years and the only thing I have been upset with is they just switched to digital and at my location, and now don't have a platform anymore... so it was impossible to get my 2 year old's picture on Monday.  I'm going to call a few different locations to see if they are all like that.  I asked if there was a chair or something that he could sit in so she could get a pic and they told me no!  They wanted him to stand on a little red dot and pose...um HELLO!  He's TWO!

The membership is good for 2 years and is 20.00 if you have the coupon from Parenting.  Usually it would be 9.99/person per sitting fee per session so if mom and dad want to get it, it pays for itself pretty quick... or if you are going to have another baby it will be a good option to have, too!
