DS and I had our first class today and he loved it. It was so much fun. We are taking the class at our Park district. It was only $70 for the 7 week class. Well worth the money.

That's great! We've been going to Music Together classes with DD and they are wonderful, as well! It's nice to have such good programs around for the little ones!

Kindermusic through the Park District (in the northern burbs) charges $90 for 8 sessions + $37 material fee.
They also offer Music Masters (Music-in-the-box) for $69 for 6 sessions + $17 material fee. Anyone have experience with this?

I forgot there was a $35 charge extra for the materials. I have a brochure from the teacher and some of her classes are 15 weeks and she charges $150. So that still comes to $10 per class. I am not sure why the price difference. If you are a non-resident of the city then it does cost more.
