Great day at the zoo

We went yesterday to the zoo. It is our family outing...my daughter, hubby and I love it. Yesterday was the first day in ages I've felt human for any length of time (I had a pretty nasty kidney infection - how we found out I was pregnant) and we wandered the place for almost 3 hours. If you haven't been in a while let me recommend you go. The new Africa Live 2 exhibit ROCKS! There are birds that are so used to humans that they just come straight up to you on the path and munch the foot around them. Also we love the hippos...it is sort of a family tradition to visit the hippos. We each have a small stuffed hippo, will have to get one for the baby now, so we are just hippo crazy people. ;)

 

Just had to do a little zoo plug since we love it so much! Hope you all have a great day. I'm off to class feeling human yet again! *cheer*

    Great, I've been wanting to go for a while now and just haven't taken the time to actually just go! I've heard from great stories about their new exhibit. Must check it out soon.
