While she spent the first couple of minutes quite surprised, since she knew that the doctors had told me I couldn't ever get pregnant again, she is happy about it. She even wants to make sure she is HERE for the delivery. Her father has successfully kept her from every major event we have had here since she was forced to move up there with him, but she has even said if she has to knock him out cold to get to the airport to get here she will. She wants to be with me when I deliver. Even though she has 4 half siblings through his side, this will be her one and only sibling on this side...the one she grew up with and where she truly wants to be. So...while I was anxious about telling her you should see how protective she is of me.

I love my baby girl (who isn't a baby any more!)

aww Suzan I am so glad that it turned out that way. She was so mature about it, wow. Great news! I'm sure she will be extremely supportive throughout the whole pregnancy, which will be less stress for you! What did your DH say about all of this?

Well truth be told we are both still reeling from the idea of having a new baby. We spent all of these years together with the 'sure' knowledge that I could never get pregnant again and very happy in that knowledge. So for both of us this is more of a shock than it is for anyone else. He is getting more and more used to the idea and is very concerned that we have a healthy baby. It will be a while before we are both settled in to the entire situation. We are happy just freaking out. *giggle*
