Question about weeks and morning sickness

in December 2010 Moms

I am 5w5d, so 6 weeks? I didn't feel well monday morning, worse yesterday, and feel like a dump truck backed up to my stomach and dumped poison. From what I've read it shows uparound 6 weeks. Do you think the books refer morning sickness weeks like 6w1d or 6th week like 5w5d?

    Some people can get it as early as 4 weeks, so I think when they say 6 weeks it is just a general idea, everyone is different.

    I hope you feel better soon. Yesterday I had the worst day so far. I wanted to be detached from my body, surprinsingly the moment I got home I felt better. Water really made me sick.

    I started having m/s about four days ago. Since then it has been constant nausea throughout the day. I am hoping this feeling subsides soon (but as long as I have a healthy baby it is worth it)!

    I've always heard that it can strike at any time. A friend of mine didn't get m/s until around week 10. I hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks! I actually feel better right now. Orange juice has been my BFF. Water makes me want to puke. It seems to be worse from 6a-8a and slowly improves, based off the past 3 days.

    I hit monday which was 5w 5d for me and i started to get nausea and then today 6w 0d it hit like a train and smalls and everything . .BLAH!!! I am just trying not to puke now...

    The first time it started around that time for me.  I had no idea what it was, just certain things didn't appeal to me all of a sudden.  And, it got worse from there.  The 2nd time it took a little longer.  This time I'm already feeling picky about certain things, but not dizzy/sick yet.

    Mine hit 2 nights ago at 2 am when my husband and I were checking on our cows. I don't know if it was the cow manure smell or what, but I starting puking in the middle of the pasture-- no fun at all. So that was before the actual 6 wk mark. Now it comes and goes, but mostly if I'm hungry, thirsty, or really tired. I just hope I'm able to get it under control and able to make it to a bathroom and not toss my cookies in front of everyone!
