Ous little girl will be here Wednesday!

My edd was the 9th. I had made no progress as far as not dialating, thining and she hadnt dropped. So I went back to the Dr this morning and m,y blood pressure was up again. So my dr is having me induced tomorrow at 5:30 pm. I thought this day was never going to come but now that its here im scared!!

    I'll be praying for you. I was induced with my daughter almost 18 years ago. The worst thing was the waiting...but overall it wasn't bad! I had a super easy delivery and while many people say it takes forever to dilate I was induced at 9:20 and delivered her at 5:07. Not long at all. My suggestion, which I know NOW but didn't know then, is take something to keep your mind occupied in the hours before labor really starts - a good book, something you like to do that doesn't require a lot of effort, that sort of thing. We had the TV on and that was it. Drove me crazy because they didn't have cable in that room and so all that was on was stupid soap operas I hated! *smirk* You will be FINE and really happy when your little one is here! :)

    Good luck.  I just had my little guy last Wednesday and we had to augment with pitocin for a bit.  It was rough but managable.   In the end having your little one and not being pregnant anymore is worth it.
