What's in a name?

We cannot decide on a name for our new baby girl. Everything sounds 'nice' but nothing I'm in love with. Then when we settle on something, as soon as I try to start referring to the baby with the name, it doesn't feel right & I don't like it anymore. At this rate, she'll be starting school & learning her name at the same time.....Sad

    So funny you should say this.  I'm in the same boat.  We have three names and none of them are awesome in my book.  I feel like it was so much easier the first go round

    i dont think it ever feels right until you see the baby and start calling baby by the name!  our name still feels strange...but i know it will be great when i see him!

    But I loved my daughter's name when we chose it (around 6th mo.) It never felt weird. And I still love it. It suits her perfectly. This time...not so much.

    Referring to LO as Sophia can feel weird sometimes too. But I'm not sure that it is a sign that the name is "wrong." We can't decide on the middle name now after we had picked Adeline. We may wait to see her after she is born to decide. I guess, I'm just saying it seems normal, if frustrating. :)
