When we went the pedi did most of the talking and answered a lot of our questions that we had. But in case they are not as talkative....
1. What are their hours? Evening, weekend hours?
2. If my child gets sick at night or weekend (and you are not open) how do I get a hold of someone? Do I call and leave a message? Who gets the message a nurse or a doc? Do they respond quickly?
3. Do they have seperate waiting room areas for sick / well children? What about exam rooms?
4. Vaccinations? (? for you - Are you going to alter them? Are you going to choose not to give them to your child) YOu want to speak to the pedi about their beliefs vs your own. If you choose not to vaccinate I have seen pedi that won't take you as a patient.
5. What can be done at the office? Stiches? x-ray? Blood work?
6. If my child is sick how easy is it to get a same day apt?
