What websites and/or resources have you used to help you learn and adjust to this new diet? I have been dairy free for a little over a month (doctor found blood in her stool). I thought I was doing well but the past couple of days my LO has been miserable again. I am not sure if there was dairy hiding in something I ate or or if it is something completely different, but any help you have is much appreciated!! Thanks!
Re: Dairy Free Moms
I'm vegan, so I can help a bit. I read labels for EVERYTHING. Are you trying cheese substitutes? Several of them still contain milk products (would be labeled as casein, most commonly.)
I refer to www.vegweb.com when I have questions.
Did you switch to soy? Because it could be that your LO is sensitive to soy as well.
Good luck & let me know if you have further questions. I'll try to help you out as much as I can.

I am not using any subs, I just cut it out completely. I am thinking I may need to cut soy as well. I will check out that website, Thank you so much for your response I really appreciate it
We're dairy free and basically eat a lot of fruits, vegis and meat. Here's a website that I find helpful with figuring out what ingredients are actually milk product. You can find soy margarine to use for cooking, we drink soy, rice, coconut, and hemp milk.
