Natural Childbirth

Hi! Did any of you give birth (or are going to) give birth naturally?  Did you use a midwife or dula?  Who would you recommend for an OB?  We are trying to find someone who is into more of a natural approach to giving birth and are kind of running into a brick wall.

    With my first it was all natural. Unfortunatley I wasn't able to w/my second. I just had my OB though & I did deliver in the hospital. Not sure if that's the environment you're trying to have though. I used Dr. William Woods. He's in practice w/his daughter Carmen. Both are OB's & wonderful. (Dr. Woods delivered both of my DD's).

    I'd recommend looking into HomeFirst.  They've been around for decades (I was delivered by a HomeFirst doctor in 77), and my mother was a midwife with them for many, many years.

    i am currently using an OB but plan to deliver naturally at Evanston Hospital.  Let me know if you want the name of my OB.  Not sure if you prefer a midwife or doula but Evanston also offers midwives.
