Moving to Naperville Area..23 wk pregnant

Hey Ladies...So I am 23 wks pregnant and am most likely going to be moving to the naperville area within the next 2 mths. I could potentially be 32 wks by the time we get there.

Any recommendations on Dr's??

Also...would you suggest Edward or Cental DuPage for a hospital.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks so much :)

    Edward Hospital is great! All of my doctors are affiliated with Edward and I have had nothing but good experiences anytime I have had to go there (well, as good as can be expected, since being in the hospital is never a good experience!)

    As far as Ob/Gyn offices go, I guess it would depend on what you are looking for. The Women's Center for Health is a good practice and is affiliated with EH. It is a rather large practice, though, with 5 docs and 4 nurse practitioners. I don't know if that makes a difference to you at all. Please let me know if you have any more specific questions.

    My friend actually recommended the same office. Is there a specific Dr that you like there?

    I agree....Edward Hospital is great!  Though this is my first baby, the facility is really state of the art and we have never had any problems with ER visits, ultrasounds etc.  My husband was admitted there a few years back for observation when he was sick and I wouldn't have wanted him anywhere else. 

    I also go to the Women's center for health.  The nice thing is that there are several offices, including one right in Naperville and the others are not far.  My doctor is Dr. Carney and she is really great.  Though now that I am pregnant, I have been to see Dr. Olsen as well (so far) and he was really nice.  Almost all of the nurse pract. are wonderful there too!

    I think all the docs and NPs in the practice are pretty good. I agree about Dr. Carney; she is very nice! Dr. Olson is very good too, but he's male if that makes a difference to you. I know some women prefer to have a female Ob/Gyn. The other docs are Josupait, Rajendran, and Anderson, and they are all great too! All of the docs are very knowledgable. The Naperville office is very busy, but there are also two other locations: Bolingbrook and Plainfield.

    Edward Hosptial is where I go as well..Dr's Chen and Carver. Terrace OBGYN phone # 630-961-9485.

    Many of my friends go to them as well. They are both great and the staff is wonderful.

    Even if you choose the other Dr's that the others recommended--defintely stay with one that is affiliated with Edward.

    I just delivered at Edward, it was fantastic.  Great care, wonderful nurses.

    I go to DuPage Health Specialists in Lisle, there are 4 drs in the practice, like them all.
