Waterbirths

So I am new to posting on this site and am wondering if any of you ladies in the Portland area are thinking about, planning, or have had a waterbirth. 

I am having my baby at OHSU and they have a great midwife dept. that offers waterbirth, just wondering if any one has any exp. with this and if so if you would share.  Thank you.

    From what I've heard OHSU is the only local hospital that supports waterbirths, so if that's the case you're going to the right place! One of the couples in our childbirth class was planning a waterbirth there and they seemed very happy with the setup but I never heard how their experience ended up. I hope it turns out wonderfully for you!

    I have recently heard that too, that OHSU is the only Portland hospital that does this.  Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!     :)
