recommend your ob/gyn in manhattan

a friend just moved to manhattan and needs to find a new ob/gyn.  i love mine (downtown women ob/gyn) but they don't take her insurance (GHI).  any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.  also ... she lives on the upper east side and works downtown.

    Mine's UWS (77th and Columbus) called "West Care Medical" - I love everyone there.  Could be a trek, but I make it from UES and Times Sq.

    where downtown?

    i go to spring obgyn in soho.  love the docs and midwife there... i've had nothing but good things to say about the office so far.

    My ob/gyn seems really nice so far - I've been going since late July and am in my first pregnancy. His name is Dr. Eric Ganz and he's with the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital - I go to the offices in Midtown West cuz its convenient for work. So far I would recommend them.

    I love Downtown Women on Broadway in Soho (between Prince and Houston). The ob/gyn's and the midwives there are all great. The number is: 212-966-7600.
