One car families--Cabin fever fix?

Until this week I hadn't cared about only having one car (we sold our other car the day before I was induced).  But today I just wish I could go shopping with LO or get some coffee or something!

We live out in the country, so public transit is out.  I've been going on daily walks, but that only helps for about an hour.  I'd love to hear any ideas!

    Does your DH need the car?  Can you drop and pick him up?  That's what I used to do.  Can friends visit you once a week?  Can you run out as soon as he gets home?

    We live 30+ minutes from DH's work, so I have to get up at 5:45am to get everything ready and LO fed to drop him off at work, and then I have to pick him up at 5:30 or 6pm, so it makes for a VERY long day away from home, or I end up making two trips so that I can spend a few hours at home with LO in the afternoon.

    Hoping someone will bring me lunch sometime this week and visit for a bit.
