Hi my name is Marisa and I am a stay at home mom. Currently I am living in Ohio, near the Cleveland area. I plan on moving back home to NYC with my 4 1/2 month old as soon as I can find a job. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about jobs that are child friendly. Are there any jobs out there that you could take your child to work? Or a job where employers are flexible and willing to work with moms with children?
Being that you are originally from NYC, you probably already know that there are sooo many jobs, positions, companies, corporations, and places to work in NYC that it would be impossible to list them all here.
Try working with a headhunter - they might have more of the inside
scoop on which offices or companies are more family friendly and they
may be able to weed out the best fit for you and won't waste your time with things that are not a good match either.
Also try looking on craig's list for NYC. there is a job search section there, too.
