Anyone heard of Dr. Suzanne Pastore??

I'm still searching for a OBGYN....

Someone just recommended Dr. Suzanne Pastore but the person had not personally gone to her.  She is at a practice with a few other Dr.'s- Drucker, Gade, and Choy.... the practice is at 150 E. 71st St.

Does anyone go to any of these doctors?  I would love first hand opinions!

Or... anyone else have a good recommendations of a female Dr. who takes insurance?? Preferably upper east side or midtown....

  • I don't know about teh doctor you mentioned, but my doctor is Stephanie Lam on 59th St. I have only been once, but I like her so far. The good thing is - you can actually get an appointment with her, which I can't say for a lot of other doctors I called to get an appointment. Good luck!

  • I have been to Dr Lam and like her alot - but just to give you a heads up, she is a DO - not a MD.  From what I know, that means they don't go to med school - but a different kind of school which has a more holistic approach.  I was planning on going back to her, but my husband wants me to go to a MD just in case there are issues with the delivery.
  • during my pregnancy i had seen both dr choy and dr lam. when it came time for my delivery the doctor on call was dr lam and i ended having an emergency c section.  i think dr lam is wonderful and i highly recommend her!

dr choy is great however i felt more comfortable with dr lam.

  • I have been to Dr. Pastore. She is very nice. She was my sister's gyn. We are both pregnant now and my sister went through IF so she is with another doc now and I switched to Dr. Sharma at NYP Cornell Weill because I have blood clotting issue and wanted a high risk doc just in case. But I think that Dr. Pastore is great. The receptionists were a bit cranky but the nurses and doc were nice.
