my face went numb

So, I'm sitting at my desk working (probably on the bump...can't remember) and I started getting a strange disoriented/dizzy feeling. Then my face went numb. It lasted a good 5-8 minutes.

I called the nurse...they want to see me this afternoon for an evaluation.  

 Has anyone had this before?

    I've had parts of my face go numb with an allergic reaction but that's probably not related.

    I get a numb-ish feeling sometimes when I have a really bad sinus infection. But never like that. That's really scary!!

    Sad Unfortunately not. That would make work more interesting though.

    LOL my face cheeks. I don't know why. DH always feel proud if after sex I say "I can't feel my face"

    In case anyone has this happen during their pregnancy...he believes it was an ocular migraine. I was told I will probably continue to get them and they may be followed by regular migraines (grrr!)

     Can't do anything about them, not really harmful, really effing scary!

    I almost wet myself when I read that...too funny.  Although I'm also a little envious :)

     Regarding the numb face, after doing a quick Internet search, I came across this - https://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/sym/numb_face.htm - there seems to be a ton of different reasons this can occur, so you may want to get it checked out by a doctor.  Or maybe your were just really cold - so maybe wear one of those snuggie blankets, which I'm sure will make you the envy of everyone at your workSmile
