I am very interested in trying baby wearing but feel overwhelmed by all the info about ring slings, mei teis, etc. Does anyone know of a store in the city with good customer service that will take the time to show you how to use/try on the different types?

    RealBirth (google it) has workshops where you can try on different slings.

    Metro Minis on Park Avenue and 75th Street. I bought a mei tei there last month. There is also a group that meets calls slingsinthecity.com.
