Has anyone w/ kids done jury duty?

I've been called for Jury duty in September.  I have a 19 month old.  Will I be able to be excused? I searched on all the govn't sites (and others) and it doesn't say anything about parents to young children being excused from jury duty.  TIA!

    I had to go down there, child in tow, with her birth certificate, and explain that I was the sole care giver, was breastfeeding, and couldn't serve.  They gave me a (I think) two year waiver.  It didn't take long, but the pain was actually getting down there with the kid.
