New to board

Hi!  I'm new to this board.  I just found out I'm 6 weeks and due November 28.  It's been a bit of an emotional ride already, my husband is deploying to Iraq in the very near future.  I was wondering if you had any good book recommendations, websites, or blogs to check out?  Is anybody on here from the Stuart area?

    Welcome and Congratulations!

    My good friend's husband was just deployed to Afganistan last week. They have 2 young sons. Hopefully you have family nearby or a good support system to help you through the next few months - this is what my friend relies on. How long will he be gone?

    What kind of blogs, books, etc? Pregnancy related?

    www.babycenter.com is a good place to start. I also like The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy as a fun read.

    Welcome and congratulations!  Finding out you are pregnant is exciting and emotional without throwing into the mix that your husband is getting deployed.  There are tons of resources out there.  Most of us are from further south but I think there are one of two up as north as you are.

    If you have an iphone, the What to Expect app is cool to have.  Plus all the other recs the ladies here have suggested.

    Congratulations! Welcome to the board :) You'll find a great support here, and tons of advice from ladies who have been through pg before, but if you need more than what to expect is basically my bible right now, as it was my first time around HTH

    RPL Workup: + LPD (7DPO Prog = 7.8, Endometrial Bx = out of phase)
    Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
    Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!

    Dx: LPD
    Cycle #1(08/2012): Clomid 50 mg CD3-7, Ovidrel CD13 + Progesterone = It worked!
    BFP #5 on 09/10/12 (11 DPO). HCG #1 @ 14DPO = 131.6 HCG #2 @ 16DPO = 509

    Congrats and Welcome I am in PSL and always down in stuart

    have mommy and me down there - and usually running some errands

    who's your ob WHS or PTW? Are you planning on delivering at Martin - 

    We had a very good experience there -

    and I was on babycenter a lot - and parents.com too

    AND of course here! everyone is very helpful!

    Welcome and congrats to the board! I can only imagine how hard it is to have your husband being deployed, particularly at such a special time.

    The girls on this board are great and even though there may not be that many that live near you, you feel like you see them everyday.
