Did your husband nest??

I think dh is nesting... He's been sooo laid back throughout the entire pregnancy and just this week it seems to have hit him. He's going crazy trying to complete all of these huge tasks asap.

He spent all last weekend working on the house. He's installing a new AC unit tomorrow (ours is old and he wants to replace it before it breaks) and he just purchased my new washer and dryer (which I had been begging for forever).

He has not stopped! Last night he wanted to start building all the baby gear (bassinet, play yard, swing, etc) and I had to stop him!

Anyone else's husband get crazy towards the end?

    LMAO! Mine did - but I think only because I was driving him crazy. LOL. Luckily when I was pregnant he worked from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays and when he got done early he tackled the closet in her room, the painting, etc. It was great coming home to stuff that was D O N E ! I think he was tired of hearing me....

    No nesting over here with DD but then again he was in school and really had no choice. we'll see how it is this time around. I'm the putter together in our house so we'll see. I put everything together last time the night of our shower.

    how cute. enjoy all your improvements!
    i'm not near the end, but today mine told me he was looking into getting a cleaning person for the apartment (mmmhhhmmmm...not so easy to keep the house clean on your own, is it?). fine by me!

    my DH nested more than I did!!! but he's SO not handy, so we hired people for the big stuff and then he did all the smaller things!

    Mine did! I remember him getting the swing and building it the day it came in the mail.  I was only like 6 months along.  My shower had not even happened, because it was a gift from someone who was not going to be able to make it. lol  DO NOT stop him, you never know... what if the momentum dies! no no no, just let him keep right along =]

    I say let him nest away! Don't stop the flow. Mine didn't nest- I had to nag him to built stuff. I think this time around he will nest though. (I will be taking pictures of him nesting)

    uh yeah lol  he's nesting like crazy and he's like "we HAVE to get Abby's closet done NOW"  lol  the day we found out were were being induced two weeks early, he started doing every house hold chore imaginable.  it's cute :)

    I don't think it really hit my husband that a baby was coming to live with us until they pulled one out of my stomach...lol.

    Don't stop him...MH nested and I let him nest away.  It was great to come home to projects that were finally done.  He nested with both kids.  It was so HOTT!

    I wish. DH wasn't even home most of the time, and when it was getting close, the only 2 things he put together were the crib, and he helped my dad put the playpen together, the other toys my dad did while he was visiting, since DH was deployed.
