Where have you looked? We're looking in the same areas. I've been to:
Stepping Stones in Watertown Learning Zone in Belmont
We're considering Stepping Stones but they are in a converted house and it seemed like it might be a little crowded. Learning Zone is all new but was extremely chaotic and they seem to be understaffed and not very organized.
We're now looking at Adventures in Belmont but it's not cheap...
Riverside Children's Center in the Waban area of Newton is phenomenal. I used to work there. The staff are treated well, which means they all put 100% into caring for your child, and there is a low turnover rate-(which shows a lot about a place and you choul ask about anywhere) I would not hesitate to leave my child there.
If you're willing to travel a little bit out of Needham.... we're using knowledge beginnings in westwood and we really like it. There are still fall infant openings and it's moderately priced for a center.
