I just got back from my 2 week checkup for the Dr. to check my incision. It went really well! He said the incision looks good, it is almost fully healed except for one tiny part. I hadn't been able to see it at all because there was tape covering it but he removed the tape today and I am really happy with how it looks! I expected the scar to be bigger but it is pretty small, I think when it heals it won't be too noticable at all.
The Dr. asked me about birth control and I told him that I didn't want any right now since I am not going to be having sex. Well he told me to buy some plan b just in case and then wrote me a prescription for BCP anyways...just in case.
I also asked him when I can start working out again and he said now! I was suprised but he said it's fine as long as I don't do heavy lifting or pulling. I don't have time to do anything today bc I have plans but I want to start tomorrow.
Can I throw in a mini vent here too? It really creeps me out when I set DS in his crib after a diaper change to go wash my hands and when I come back my roommate is standing in my room just staring at him. I get that he is cute
but does she not realize that is my room? I am so protective about him and she is always staring at him and getting right in his face.
Buuut...the thing with my roommate isn't a big deal and today is a good day so I'm happy.
Re: 2 weeks PP checkup
Probably a good idea to get the BCP anyways....I remember a nurse coming to my house right after I had P and she said something about "what are you planning to use for BC?". I told her I was not planning to have sex and she just kind of looked at me at said that you never know when your plans may change!
Funny thing about that is when I was seeing that guy a few months ago it was amazing how quick the conversation came up and BC WAS all of the sudden an issue! So you never know when you might need it!
Take the BCP. You want that stuff in your system just in case.
Creepy roommate btw.
