did anybody here take prozac while pregnant? What were the effects on the baby..if any?
BFP #1 10/23/10 M/C 11/22/10 BFP #2 1/16/11 M/C 2/2011 BFP #3 1/2012 M/C 3/2012 RE testing: all normal 6/2012: injects+Iui = BFN 9/2012 injects + Iui = BFN 12/2012: polyp removal TTC on our own for awhile

    I've been on Prozac for my entire pregnancy -- since our son passed away last May -- and I don't know that there have been any adverse effects for the baby.  I know it's commonly prescribed.  I can't imagine that a good ob would write a scrip for a bad drug.

    I don't know about Prozac while pg - but, I take it now and it has really helped me. I used to take Zoloft and it did a big fat nothing for me.

    I hope you find some answers and help.

    I took Prozac during my first pregnancy.  I was on 40 mgs until around 5 months, and then I went to 60 mgs for rest of the pregnancy.  I've been on 60 mgs for this current pregnancy.  The main concern with it is it can cause hypertension for the baby after birth.  My DD did not suffer any adverse reaction from it.
