On a lighter note - is there such thing as a good glider for < $200?

I know Storkcraft are < $200 but Baby Bargains gives them a C.  Anyone have one?  Are they really bad or are they just bad in comparison to Dutailer?

    I'm not sure.  I know that we had a hard time finding a glider that wasn't more expensive than that.  We were determined to get a cheaper one and then we started trying out the ones at Baby's 1st and BRU and found the Dutailier to be the most comfortable.  We ended up taking the product number from Baby's 1st and finding a good deal online.  We bought it from one of the csn stores.  I do not remember how much we paid but I know it was a good bit more than $200, but as much as we sit in that thing, it was worth it for us.
    After 2 years and 6 IUIs, we did it with IVF w/ ICSI!

    We got a glider for under $200 from Target and it only lasted a year.  The spring on the seat area got loose and made squeaky noises that annoyed me.  We splurged and got a nicer chair once and regret even paying $180 for the cheap glider that we could have just spent on the more expensive chair.

    Not a glider, but I am happy with the Poang chair from IKEA. It's all I've ever had in a nursery. And you can get one for under $100 depending on the fabric you choose.

    I agree with the others that said to splurge on the expensive glider. I still use mine nightly with Joe when I read him his bedtime stories. It was the best purchase we made. We got the glider and ottoman at BRU for about $550 total I think....bpaullo has the same one and got it at Costco. probably for less. But, it has been awesome and will be used in K#2's room eventually.

    GARAGE SALES!    We got a very nice glider for $50 at a garage sale before ds was born!  

     A lot of neighborhoods are having spring garage sales soon.  Fairfield is having theirs this coming weekend.   That would be a great place to look.

    Are you looking for fully upholstered?  If not, here is a $219 Dutailier.  It's also on amazon.com for $259+no tax+free shipping.

    I have a fully upholstered Dutailier and other than our Orbit Stroller, it is the BEST thing we got.  I spent so much time nursing in that chair and we still sit in it for stories before nap/bed.
