Waxing While PG?

I have an appointment today to get a brazilian wax and eyebrow wax. I've heard that it is extra painful since there's so much more blood flow 'down there'. What was your experience? I guess I'll be able to report back tomorrow with my experience.

I'm 14 weeks along... I'm hoping that if I get super regular about going that it will be a little less painful down the road when I'm huge.

    I'm sure it doesn't matter in the beginning but I just got an email from Hoag (I get their email newsletters each week) and it was saying that towards the end of your pregnancy to let your hair grow down there.  It said hair removal techniques can traumatize the skin and lead to infections. 

    Just some FYI.  Good luck.  I have not waxed since I've been PG.  I just stuck to shaving.

    I got waxed all throughout pg. I don't remember if it hurt any more or less. Sorry!

    I def thought it was more painful. I did it throughout and was even all ready at delivery much to the dismay and curiousity of my 14 year old sister who was in the delivery room.

    Some people say to take ibuprofen before.  I just did "natural brazilian" ;)

    I waxed throughout my whole pregnancy, and was told it would be worse, but it was the same. Good luck!
