Lakeland ladies - need your help!
Hey gals! I need some suggestions for shower locations in Lakeland. My sister just had a baby 2 months ago - he came 3 months early, so her shower is taking place after baby, instead of before!!! (He's completely healthy and is home already - praise God!) Anyway, she lives in Lakeland so I want to have the shower there, but am unsure of good spots (I'm in Tampa). It'll be a smaller shower - maybe 10 to 12 of us - so I don't need large hall recommendations. A restaurant with private rooms or tea house would be fine. Thanks so much for any ideas!!!

There's a tea room in downtown Lakeland called My Cottage Garden. The owner is wonderful and would be very accommodating to any request. There's another tea room called Mrs. T. Potts. I've never been there so I can't say what it's like. Also, Zohra's is a new place that recently opened. Again, I haven't been there but a friend has and said it was nice.

There is a place called Deli Delicacies on S. Florida Avenue. Their food and cakes are amazing! They have a private room in the back. Its great food but it is pricey.

Another place I recommend is in Plant City. It's the Camelia Rose Tea room. Its is wonderful and worth the 20 minute drive.
