Hm? I'm not hugely into FB. I rarely find an app that holds my interest more than 10 minutes (sorry - never got into the farming thing or the mafia game - in fact, that typing thing was the one that I did the most with - looooser...), and frankly, there's not much more snooping around at pseudo-friends pages I can do.
So, what do you do with your FB page? Hm? Do you spend a lot of time on it?
Me: I do like to see friends pictures, of course. That's probably the biggest. I also like the chat feature, although I rarely use it. I don't spend a lot of time on there, to be honest. I do like the ability to give cryptic, one liners as my status update, though.
Re: s/o FB - what do you use FB for?
I like it b/c I can add pictures and update all my friends at once rather than emailing everyone. I keep in touch with a lot of friends that way, since I live further out of town than many of my close friends.
I also use it for business.

Exactly all of this. My family lives many states away, so it's easy to keep in touch. It's great for vendor networking for me!

my whole family is on facebook pretty much (parents, siblings, IL, aunts, uncles, cousins etc etc etc) so it is an easy way to keep everyone up with what is currently going on. DH and i grew up together so we have a lot of mutual friends and they like to see pics of us and of DS so i use it for that too. plus i suck at keeping in touch and facebook lets me do it easily.
i am a fairly open and upfront person so i don't mind that my whole family sees my status all the time. i am a little more careful now that my 13 year old brother has facebook since i don't want to make him uncomfortable - LOL!
i do have some people set to a limited viewing status, but not too many. i figure anyone who knows me IRL will not be offended by much of what i post, and if they are they can always unfriend me :-)

I enjoy keeping up with family, college friends, and coworkers. Photos are great.
I also use FB to spread my non-conformist viewpoint with links to health-related articles and breastfeeding videos (heh heh heh). And I totally realize the irony of an "unorthodox non-conformist" using Facebook. I'm not that much of a hippie.

Oh - I've been meaning to ask you - what are you having again? - have you found out yet?
:P (j/k - this time!)
Me, too!! I love keeping up with friends from high school/college. It's also great to share pics.
Cycle #11: BFP
I'm generally addicted because it's a fab way to waste 10 minutes decompressing between activities.
But I'm about to get off it entirely, as my sister's own special brand of crazy is permeating things on it, and my blood pressure skyrockets in a noticeable way every time I see something from her. And that's not good.
Last night I logged off, looked at DH, and said "do we even have to tell her I'm pregnant? Ever? Can't we just send her a text after it's born and be like 'SURPRISE!'?" So I finally clicked "block" on her status updates last night, but it didn't work, AND she's commenting on my posts, and I'm so very over it.
