trying to debate when to stop working.....im already not doing much at work (i manage a spa and its torture to do laundry and walk around the spa too much)
9 days to go! I'm due at the beginning of Spring Break and am not returning afterward- whether I'm pregnant or not! But I'm done for a couple years at that point.
I am working right up until she comes pretty much. I have an appt. tomorrow and I hope they consider inducing since there is a possibility LO is getting big. (Last week she was measuring almost 40 weeks!) Plus I am getting extremely uncomfortable at work. Even though I have a desk job, sitting for 9 hours a day with swelling is less than ideal.

I just finished work, I have about 2 weeks until my due date. I have a lot at home I wanted to accomplish before baby arrives and I didn't have the time/energy to do it all on weekends. I'm also using this time to spend some one on one time with my other daughter before things get too hectic. I'm in Canada, so I get a year long maternity/parental leave.
Today is my first day off work, I was hoping to work a little longer but they wanted my replacement trained and ready to go at least a week before my due date and wouldn't keep us both on. They kept looking at me like I was going to go into labour any minute.
I'm a SAHM, so that's not an issue this time. I just wanted to add that I stopped working 2 weeks before my due date when I was pregnant with DD. That was the longest 2 weeks EVER! It was horrible just sitting around waiting, I wish I would have worked atleast another week.
My last day was last Wednesday, but I have a unique situation as we are moving from Europe back to the states at the end of the summer, so I am not going back to work. I am still finishing up my last class and my comp exams for school this month, though, so I still have a "job" with that.
I am due July 8th, so July 2nd (the Friday before) will be my last day. I have clients that have to have files transfered to another person and court appearances that require pre-scheduled coverage, so I can't wait until I go into labor. Plus, I think if she comes on time or late, it will be nice to have a few days to relax before she comes! )
I work retail and while I had planned on staying on until at least my due date I had to tell them last week was my last. I would be so sore at the end of a shift that I could barely walk.

I work part time so I don't have much leave time accrued so I don't want to waste it before he is born. I'm three days late and planning on working until I'm in labor. It's a good distraction.
i'm still debating on my last day. my midwives recommended the 16th (2 weeks before EDD) but i was thinking 1 week or just a few days before my EDD. i may decide based on how i feel.
DH comes home soon from being away for 6 months so we agreed I would leave my job early so we can make up some of the time we've lost. We'll just be relocating for the Navy a couple months after LO comes anyway.
I feel like a wuss compared to all you ladies! I'm taking off 4 weeks before EDD (mostly because I have the vacation time, and I get 12 months of after LO is here, so I'll be happy to take the extra time beforehand). I'm making myself a "mat leave list" of projects I want to do before LO arrives.

Up until last week, I was going to work until I went into labor. After talking with my MW, who said that I looked completely drained and exhausted, I decided Friday will be my last day. I must say, ladies, now having an end in sight is an amazing thing!
As some of you may know, DH and I recently took in a 10 year old and 13 year old. Being pregnant is a breeze compared to the 13 year old, who I think has led me to higher blood pressure, exhaustion, etc.
Re: when are you stopping work?
DD1 born 5/24/10.
Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.
DD2 born 5/14/13.
Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.
DD2 8.22.13
MMC 1.4.17 at 16w
Expecting #3, EDD 1.29.18
I stopped at my due date (last week). I teach fitness classes and my workouts were suffering due to being so pregnant, so I figured I'd stop.
This baby better come out soon.
I am working up until I'm either told I can't work anymore or I'm in labor. I want as much time with my little guy as possible
My last is planned to be on my due date.
I'm still working, but luckily I WFH. With DD I WFH until 7:30pm the night I went into labor. I hope to keep busy this time too. Aaaany time now...
FTR, I stopped commuting to the office (100 miles each day) at 37w with both pregnancies.
Friday
