OMG look at that siggy! I remember when your siggies consisted of a baby that couldn't evens sit up alone, and now she's sitting on her chair like a big girl... touching the ground!

Jackie, THANK YOU! I can't believe she's such a big girl already. Get ready because it happens so very fast. I feel like one night I put a baby in the crib and the next morning when she woke up she was a "kid!" Makes me teary eyed when I think about it. LOL!
Just read your post about buying a home and I wasn't sure if you would go back to it so I will respond here.
We bought our house in June of last year. It was a foreclosure. The asking price was way under value so we knew that there would be a lot of offers, we offered over the asking price. Basically, we looked at comps in the area and offered the most we would be willing to pay and still feel like we got a good deal. We ended up being the highest offer by $5k so we got the house. It was not an entirely pleasant experience dealing with the bank and attorneys, etc.
Our realtor is also a good friend and helped us a lot and offered a lot of advice on the whole process. If you don't have one yet, I'd be happy to pass his info along to you!
