rough time: t&p's needed

Hey guys,

For some of ya'll who have been around forever you know that I'm the depression/anxiety poster child with a long family history of mental illness. I've been in treatment for about three years but I've been really struggling since my ectopic in Dec '08. Something has gotten off with my medication and I'm really falling apart. I'm in a position in law school where I'm pretty much done so I'm going to take a week and do a "day program" to try and get my meds under control.

I don't even want to try to get better anymore but I'm doing this for DH. He's my love and he deserves the world and so I'm going to do my best so I'll be around for him. My doctors want me to go back on BC because I tend to do better mentally when I'm on it so I'm going to do that. It doesn't really matter because my tube is sucktastic so its not like I was going to get PG anyway.

So I'll be off the bump for a bit and if you're friends with me on FB, don't say anything, this is hugely embarassing but I just needed the support of my TTCAL girls. Thanks for your friendship and hopefully I'll be back on in a week feeling a lot better.

As a fellow crazy I can empathize. (Bipolar II shout-out!) But it's a disease that you did not ask for and cannot control. Are cancer patients embarassed that the chemo that had been great stops working and their cancer gets out of control? No. Neither should you. I'm glad you're doing this. Believe me I know the feeling of "If it weren't for the fact that it would destroy (fill in the name) then I'd just end it. What part of this life is worth keeping?" But you know that once you get on the right meds again you'll be so happy that you stuck it out. You have good years ahead of you with your husband and your children. I hope to see you back soon.
