Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Awake time between naps

Good morning -

I'm just curious, how long is your 4 month old awake between naps?  DD's still pretty much 90 minutes, but the last week she's been fighting naps even after giving many drowsy signals.  When I've tried keeping her up and playing a bit longer, she ends up cranky. TIA

Re: Awake time between naps

  • Same, usually around 90 minutes. Some times closer to 2 hours but not often.

  • we have been at around 90 min awake time for a couple months now. she just started going longer before her last nap -- she'll go two hours then & the nap is very short (30 min) and then she is up again for the rest of the evening until bedtime (which is about 2.5-3 hours)
  • Just recently, it has been about 2 hours (sometimes more).  It was only an hour and a half max about 2 weeks ago.

  • about 2 hours of awake time, then a nap.  He's been that way for awhile now.
  • 1.5 - 2 hours.....just depends.....but on Saturday I had him up for 4 hours at one time- not good!!  But he feel asleep as soon as we hit the car - we were out running errands!
  • One hourSad DD will not nap more than 40mins so she is cranky if she is up longer than one hour!
