Tickling ok?

My husband is a tickling fiend, so I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was okay to be tickled during pregnancy. I wriggle a lot to try and get out of it which is what I'm really worried about. I might just be worrying about everything too much though!

    I've heard it makes them less ticklish.  Tell your husband to go for it and just know that you are doing it for your child.

    No, sorry, I'm pretty sure it says in WTEWYE to never tickle pregnant women, you could laugh the baby right out of your uterus.

    Wow.  If you're afraid of tickling, what are you going to do when the ultrasound tech needs to wake up your baby, so she starts poking and jiggling your belly?  Hmm

    Tickling is perfectly fine. There's not much he can do to hurt the pregnancy.

    When I was around 16-17 weeks we were rough playing and he pushed me backwards onto the bed (not hard) but the stretching as I went backwards really hurt. You'll learn when it gets to be too much.

    (I also agree with all PP that this was quite amusing, just thought I'd give a real answer just incase.) Wink

    It's OK as long as it doesn't turn into sex. Tickling + sex = wicked case of baby hiccups. I saw it on Maury. For realz.

    I think she might've meant that the OP is going to be in for a long pregnancy if she's concerned about tickling. I could be wrong though!
