anyone get pg by only having sex on days with + opk?

I'm trying to come up with our plan for this month. Last month we had great timing and it didn't work out. Actually we've had great timing every month since ttc but it hasn't worked yet. I think we're starting too soon in the cycle and by the time O time comes around we're getting worn out so we're finding ourselves not as much in the mood but doing it moreso to just to ttc. So I guess I'm wondering if anyone who used opks only had sex on the days it was + or withing the 24-48 hours after and still got pg?

I personally recommend just having sex as much as you can. LoL! I did not use OPKs, but I did chart my temps/CM, and we did it 2 days before O, the day of O, and 2 days after. GL to you! : )

I only used an OPK once and didnt get pg that cycle.. so instead we did it every other day for the week of ovulation I set it so that we did it the day before O was supposed to happen and didnt do it after O day.. so just -1 -3 -5 days before O and we got pg on the third cycle of trying..

It looks like you are getting multiple days of + opk's based on your last months chart so I can see how you would get worn out

. We used the CBEFM the month we got our BFP. I had been charting for 4 months and became frustrated. We BD'd only on peak reading days and got our BFP. Peak readings are similar to + opk's. Give it some time, looks like you only have one month of charting. GL!

This time around we managed to bd the two days before O and the day of O. The day before O and the day of O were both when we had positive OPKs. I have a co-worker who told me that her midwife suggested every 12 hours after a positive OPK for like three days. It would be exhausting, but it worked for her. Not sure if that helps.

Not sure if my chart helps, but I had multiple OPK's and we had sex on those days. BFP chart in sig.

The fist month we used OPK's we had sex 2 days before +OPK and 2 days after. I figured we were out this cycle, cause we missed it! Good luck!

We didn't temp. We just had sex everyother day starting with CD10, until +opk, than everyday until the day after last +opk.

I had sex the day before a +opk and then two days later when I either was O'ing or had just O'd depending on how long after the +opk I actually O'd. This was our first month trying for baby #2 and I'm Ku'd.

I have several months of charting but because I only have the free ff membership it only shows current and previous chart. I've been charting this time around since November/December 2009 but I also charted while ttc #1.

I usually get 2 days of + opks but last cycle was weird with so many +s.

you can see my chart [link in sig]- we only had sex the day before O. still, i would never have known i was going to ovulate if i wasn't charting cm and i wouldn't have known i was pg several days before a + test without temps.

I got a positve but didn't have the CM to match until three days later. This may be a bit much, but I was in The Limited trying on a dress and I felt it. I was like holy sheet it's here. The was on a sat. We did it that day and sun. We had sex on that thursday too. That's the month we got a BFP.

I got PG with DS with no +OPK's. Clearly I ovulated.

We did it the first day I got the OPK+, the next day (OPK+ again), and the third day was ovulation day. My BFP on 10DPO. From what I've read 80% of all conception happens on those two days before ovulation when you see the OPK+.

Worked better for us than doing it a few times during the fertile period and just once when I got the OPK+. I know what you mean about being tired/it feeling like a chore when you start early.

We had one positive OPK - so we did it that night and the next day. There wasn't a whole lot of time to do it anywhere else in my cycle that month b/c of work/school/sports. I never temp'd or tracked my CM or any of that stuff. I really didn't think we were going to get a BFP that month b/c of the lack of sex, but here we are with twins on the way.

we had sex ONCE the month I got pregnant. I guess it was around the time I ovulated but I wasn't charting.
