Generic Zoloft & Breastfeeding

My OB prescribed zoloft but the pharmacist filled it with the generic version.  My doc said zoloft is totally safe for the baby....is it safe to assume the generic version is as well?

    Yes. But call the pharmacy back to verify for your own piece of mind.

    And next time, mention to your pharmacist that you are breastfeeding.
