1. That I'm actually growing a baby ![]()
2. That I found antacids that are completely safe to take, actually work and have a laxative effect when taken in the maximum dose. Praise the Lord!
3. That I no longer have to suck in the fat gut that I, um, 'acquired' thanks to IVF drugs, and I can now just blame it on the baby showing (even when it's not) ![]()
Re: What are you thankful for during this pregnancy?
aw, i like this post... i'm thankful for....
- getting pregnant quickly
- finally getting over the morning (read: all day) sickness i had for 14 weeks.
- being able to work part time and not have to do full time b/c my husband is the coolest.
- having a husband that's involved
- having a fantastic mom and sister in law to eat rita's with (SIL is pregnant too, mom just likes it)
- being able to wear adorable sun dresses and float around in a pool during my more giant months.
- the swelling in my hands and feet to have just gone down (they felt like sausages!)
WHAT antacid?? I'm having serious acid issues. And I have very irregular (nonexistent) bowels. TMI, sorry
1. i'm grateful for conceiving
2. i'm grateful for my awesome husband who is currently helping me syringe feed a g*dd*mn cat. i kind of feel like she's training us for what's coming...
3. i'm grateful for the two weddings i'm attending that are actually in cities where my family live. i was going to be disappointed if i couldn't see my parents at all before the birth, but i get to spend a week with my parents and a weekend with extended family!
I am thankful for:
~no longer feeling nauseous 24/7
~growing a healthy, very active baby
~having a very supportive husband
~having a very concerned and curious daughter
Story of my life at the moment! TMI be damned lol.
There's a particular chewable under the brand-name Gaviscon but I'm not sure if you will have them in your country. They taste absolutely foul and get stuck in your teeth but are so worth it.
I am thankful for:
Poor cat, I hope she's ok
1. I am thankful that god blessed us with a baby on the way. It was the best christmas present ever this year and we can't wait.
2. no major complications and me and baby have been healthy thus far
3. An awesome husband who is super supportive and excite about the whole process.
1.) A fairly easy pregnancy thus far, with no complications. (knock on wood)
2.) The best, most supportive and loving husband a girl could ever want.
3.) The best health insurance you can get! (I pay nothing at all in any way-unless i go over a certain amount for prescriptions)
thank you... she's a lot better than she was. it just sucks because she hates it, then she hates us, but if we don't do it, she probably won't make it. but i am super grateful that i have a sweet guy who loves her as much as i do. i just keep thinking about what an awesome dad he'll be.
Our life - est. 2007
That's heartbreaking
I'm sending all my best wishes and hope she gets better. Whether or not she appreciates your efforts, at least you're being good parents to her by doing the best you can. Good luck
I am thankful for:
Keeping pregnant so quickly after my miscarriage
That I am carrying a growing and active baby
That I have a supportive husband who is excited about our baby
For a supportive family
I'm thankful that every sonogram and every appointment indicates a healthy baby.
I'm thankful that I have a great husband that had done everything to make this a smooth pregnancy and I know he'll be a great dad.
I'm just happy to be pregnant - see siggy.
and yes <<< That I no longer have to suck in the fat gut that I, um, 'acquired' thanks to IVF drugs, and I can now just blame it on the baby>>> That too!
thank you. i really appreciate it.
Good topic! I'm thankful for:
1) Getting pregnant quickly
2) That DH and I are in great health and my family has a long history of very healthy, long lives (DH is adopted so we don't know his past)
3) That my pregnancy has been pretty easy so far
4) That I'm in a loving, stable, happy marriage to a great guy that will make a great father
5) That we're financially stable with great medical benefits
1. My pregnancy being a dream come true so far, seriously I have to remind myself I'm knocked up sometimes because I've been symptom free.
2. Healthy and super active baby girl so far!
3. That the weather is going to start getting nice for the long haul soon!
4. Family!!
1. We didn't have an issue conceiving, I charted for 2 months then we got pregnant the 3rd month.
2. My pregnancy has been going strong --even survived a 25-hr flight one way for our "babymoon" when I was 9 weeks along. Everyone thought I was crazy.
3. I haven't had a lot of aches or pains, just a little bit of morning sickness.
4. My husband has incredibly supportive and couldn't be more elated that we're having a girl.
- i'm thankful that my little girl is healthy!!!!
- not having "horrible" morning sickness
- not having uncontrolable weight gain
- not worrying about ever looking bloated
wow nice question. The blessings i have received:
1.Thankful to God for blessing us with a child
and fulfilling our dreams with this baby (this plus one or two more
)
2. Thankful for having an energetic and healthy LO. Hope he remains that way forever
3. Thankful for having an equally excited and caring DH
4. Thankful for having my dad and nanny caring for me too
and good friends and boss also!
5.Thankful for having enough financial resources to support this pregnancy
6. For staying healthy and hurdling the bumps of this pregnancy (read: infections, light spotting etc)
1. The fact that I've been blessed to be pregnant and healthy in the first place. I read a lot of posts on here that constantly remind me that this is an enormous blessing, and I will find a way to appreciate it all - the backaches, the swelling, etc.
2. No morning sickness.
