How is everyone doing this weekend? Yesterday was Day 3 of  30 Day Shred for me. I got so winded and tired, I said "eff you Jillian Michaels" and turned the DVD off. I sat on the couch for about one minute before guilt got the best of me and I turned it back on again. Ugh! I am dreading doing it today.

Does anyone else's child have some kind of radar? Like a spidey-sense, DS totally knows when I'm in the middle of a workout and immediately starts to wake up. Then I'm racing to put the paci in his mouth while trying to change positions. 

 

I'm updating weights today, so let me know if I need to change yours!

  • I've only been walking so far, but I have 7 lbs to go.  When I get the ok from the Doc to exercise I'm going to restart my 30 Day Shred, Wii and/or EA Active

  • I'm already 4 lbs under my pre-preg weight, but I'm trying to lose 20 lbs from what I'm at now.. then I'll be super happy lol. So I can join too since I'm still on the weight losing train?

  • Oh, can I join this group?  I am still in the walking phase right now but I have 36 pounds to go.  I cannot wait to get to the Shred phase.

  • Ugh.  The food motivation is here today, but not the exercise.  So. Freakin. Tired.  Going upstairs to nap right now in the hope that I'll wake up refreshed and ready to go on a walk with the kiddo.

    Oh DS had this going for him the first week of 30DS.  I didn't mind, since I was so tired.  Heheh.  This week I started putting him down for a nap around 9 am and once he's down I get my workout and a shower in.  Works wonders!

    Well, I give myself a weekend break from the shred.  DH just went to get us lunch (burgers and fries, so healthy!) so I'll be going for a long walk with the dog and DS in the ergo this afternoon.

    Anyone else find they are extremely hungry all the time now after working out?  I EBF so I'm sure that has something to do with it, but I feel like I could eat everything thing the house and still be hungry.  I had a half dozen bread sticks with dinner last night and wasn't even full!  This is crazy!  At least I'm not gaining weight.

  • How about those of us still working up the nerve to get on a scale? No idea how much I have to lose and working on motivation. I'm still recovering and now battling a UTI so it's been really slow on physical activity. I'm chugging water and cranberry juice like crazy so hopefully the UTI will clear up soon.
