If you are on track to gain 25-35 pounds at about a pound a week, anything from 5-15 pounds is right on track. Of course there is a wide degree of variation, and my doc was fine with the fact that I wasn't in that range (rough 1st tri).
The only reason I know this is eact is bc I have the Wii and it weighs me each time I go on. needless to say I didn't go on for 38 days (@ 19 weeks to the present and I gained 8 lbs in that time) I have always had a gymnists body.. but I really love my bump!
I had a normal BMI and I have gained 2 pounds at 21 weeks. I have been eating like a horse though. My doctor said my metabolism has more than likely just sped up and not to worry.

i was in good shape before i got pregnant, working out 5 days a week, which i still do. I have gained 7 lbs so far, but i have my 20 week check up on monday, so we will see what the scale says at the doctors office, yikes! ha.
I had a bad first trimester, and I'm still under my pre-pregnancy weight by around 3 pounds. I eat a lot and take walks, and baby is growing (and moving!) well so the doctor isn't concerned
I'm still visibly thinner (no more love handles, thinner around the face) but my stomach has a slight pouch to it. It's hard- all baby. I had a slightly lower than normal BMI pre-pregnancy.
Again, I had a really bad first trimester, but I've been feeling great and trying not to worry about not 'popping' or about not gaining weight.
I started with a BMI on the low end of normal, and was up 6-7 lbs at 20 weeks. I gained the first 6 lbs all at once (went from zero weight gained at 17 weeks to 6lbs at 19 weeks) and have been gaining about 1 lb a week since then.
I was considered slightly underweight but in good shape pre-preg (5'4" - 5'5" and between 105 and 110 pounds). I think at 20-ish weeks I had gained around 15 pounds. I'll be 30 weeks on Tuesday and I am now up 22-23 pounds. I'm aiming for 30-35 total.
I was considered normal BMI before pregnancy. Right now I'm up 6 pounds (20 weeks 1 day). My OB would like to see me gain 1 pound per week going forward.
I had a normal BMI (22.3) before pregnancy, and I'm currently up 8lbs at 22 weeks. I'm still running 20-25 miles a week, which I'm sure contributes to lower weight gain. However, our little boy is measuring 2 weeks 3 days ahead so he is certainly growing, and growing, and growing! haha
Re: Weight Gain at 19-20 weeks
my last dr appt was @ 19 wks and i had gained 9lbs and dr said that was right on
I'm going to throw everything off, just to make myself feel better
My BMI was 21.1 pre-pregnancy, my body was awesome.
I have gained 33 lbs.
My doc said she isn't concerned at all.
