Going on a picnic .....question with Gerber Baby Food

Hi ladies,

DH and I are going on a picnic with DS today. We wanted to head out early and enjoy this beautiful day! Had a question for you ladies with DS food. He eats Gerber baby food in the plastic tubs, I always warm it for him. Since we are going on a picnic I am not going to be able to heat it and I was wondering if its a necessity to heat the food ( bacteria,etc) or is it ok to give it to him right out of the tub? Any recs? I know I am mostly likely over thinking this but wanted to see what you ladies do.

I either give it to DS right out of the tub or right out of the fridge. No warming it up here! Bad mommy! (me, not you!!)

i almost always give it right out of the tub except for a couple veggies like peas and green beans, and thats only because she likes them better that way

we've never heated it up. since it's vacuum sealed airtight, room temperature is perfectly safe, as long as you don't keep an unfinished container out for a while and THEN try to refrigerate it or anything lol.
