Once yesterday and twice today when I've changed C's diaper, there has been a teeny-tiny orangey-red spot in his diaper.  Am I correct in thinking this may be a teeny spot of blood?  How concerned should I be?  Would this be an indicator of a possible UTI?

    It's possible, though they don't get UTIs as often as girls do. Could he be bleeding from his circ (if he had one)?

    Has he been eating well? I know with both of my babies had brick dust urine when they were tiny. It's basically a sign of dehydration though. I'd keep the next diaper you see it on... does it turn dark as it dries out like blood does? If it stays the same orangey red, then it's not blood.

    we had this issue..  I freaked out.. went to the pedi..  It's a reaction between the diaper and urine.  Something about the acidity.  They really should put something on the package.  I nearly had a melt down...
