Travel Question??

Have any of you checked your carseat with the base, your stroller and your playplen at the airport when you have traveled before?? We are visiting my Mom's this weekend and we are staying 2 1/2 weeks and I feel we need all of these things. DH thinks I am crazy and doesn't want to lug all these things around. He is willing to check the carseat because of course we have to have it but he is concerned about checking the stroller and the playpen. What do y'all think?? Anyone check any of these things before? Any helpful suggestions?

    Gate check the stroller unless you don't need it in the airport. What is his concern? Is it an option to buy a PNP to leave at your mom's?

    My sister lives out of state so my parents have a convertible car seat, PNP, bouncer, high chair, etc. for when my sister visits with my niece.

    You can gate check the carseat and the stroller... I'd get a cheap PnP to keep there rather than take it with you

    I'd also leave the carseat base at home.  you can buckle the infant seat right into the car.
