We have a ranch with a walk-out, partially finished basement. Upstairs, we have 2300 square feet and 1500 square feet finished in the basement. So we have around 3800 square feet of living space total.
6,000 sq ft.(two story colonial w/ finished basement)
We have WAY more house than we'll ever need. Seemed like a steal at the time and then I had to clean it. LOL
1500 sf. 1story. I've never even seen a house w/ a basement. I don't think they build them out here unless it's custom. I think it would be cool to have the space.
Re: random poll! How many sq.ft is your house?
About 1500 sq. ft. with a full basement not counted in the measurement.
ETA: We have a Craftsman bungalow.

1860 (not including the 1/2 finished basement). We have a 2-story as well.
Including the basement it would probably be approx. 2650
We just sold a 1476 sf ranch with no basement.
Our new house is also a ranch, 2555 sf upstairs and a 2156 sf finished basement. So 4711 total.
Triple the space. Crazy. I don't know what I'll do with all of it.
